About The AU
This is an alternate timeline Elibe where a few key things are different.
In general, the timeline is different to most Elibe worlds. The 'story' revolves around the development of Hector and Uther as people.Eliwood passed at Dragon's Gate instead of Elbert. Thus Elbert lives past 'endgame'.Uther also lives. Instead of dying to sickness, he simply lives on to stay as the marquess of Ostia.Lyn and her 'Legion' eventually disbands with Hector and the rest of the army, leaving Hector to lead the army with the support of Oswin. Though she and Florina come back for the final fight out of courtesy for the general situation and less for the army, ESPECIALLY not for Hector (at least that's Lyn's mindset).After the final fight, Lyn runs elsewhere. It's said she isn't in Caelin either so her whereabouts is currently unknown. Florina doesn't follow and leaves for Caelin to work as a pegasus knight there for the sake of what is supposed to be sort of Lyn's land.Post war, Hector is almost completely broken and is having trouble dealing with everything (and everyone) that has passed. Since his brother is still alive, he stays as a general.Post war, the world is merged with many others, hence why Hector and Uther in particular are able to see many MANY different faces. They've acquainted with or even made friends with some.

Important Info
An Elbert who's life was saved at Dragon's Gate in exchange for his son's life. Instead of perishing at Dragon's Gate, Eliwood gave himself up so Hector could get Elbert out of the way. It's a time that he wishes he lost his life instead of Eliwood. Regardless, he leads Pherae as marquess and has developed a strong friendship with Uther.
In ways, he IS glad to be alive. But for the most part, he isn't because he would've rather his life be taken than Eliwood's. He's mostly moved past his son's death for the sake of leading Pherae and keeping the land stable as he's always done. Elbert continues his ruling and does it to the great standard he's always been known to rule at. His charisma is matched only by his decency and kindness. The man is someone people can look up to but also be on the same grounds with.
These qualities are ones that he 'taught' Uther of when he needed help. To always stay on the level of the people and always know how and when to respect a person. Elbert is why Uther is as renowned a leader as he is. Through his help, they became close friends and still are despite not seeing each other often at all. Their friendship symbolises more than just the two being friends. It symbolises a strong connection between Pherae and Ostia as lands. When one country is in a rough spot, the other would aid. And that's how it's been between Uther and Elbert when it comes to ruling their lands.
Now, Elbert rules Pherae with the same principles he's known far and wide for. To rule as a human being, not a marquess. Though the loss of Eliwood is a hard thing to completely move past, for both him and Eleanora, he pushes through for the sake of his people. If a land isn't stable, nothing is. So he can't shirk his efforts as marquess even through such an impactful loss.
